Oklahoma News: Hunting, Fishing, Golfing Considered Essential Activities
In Oklahoma, a statewide executive order is in place to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Across all seventy-seven counties, a “Safer at Home” order is in place until April 30th.
Businesses Deemed Essential
Although, all non-essential businesses are to close. There are many essential businesses allowed to remain open across the state. Some of the lake-related essential businesses include the following:
• Hunting areas
• Fishing locations
• Golfing facilities
• Forestry entities
• Agricultural locations
• Food & beverage stores
• Sporting goods stores
• General merchandise centers

During this time, always call ahead to the places you are visiting which are lake related. Wash your hands regularly, wear a face covering if possible, and enjoy your personal space.
