Current updates for the community residents and visitors for Lake Eufaula in Oklahoma are as follows:
Lake Eufaula State Park & Deep Fork Nature Center
• Nature Center activities are still postponed at this time due to the COVID-19 pandemic
• Specific bathrooms are now closed to the public including Black Jack bathrooms, Deep Form bathrooms, & Kiddie Pond bathrooms
• All playgrounds are closed at this time and are not to be used
• Hummingbird beach is closed to public access
• Group camping is closed until further notice
• Lake Eufaula State Park office is closed to the public
So, what can I do at Lake Eufaula State Park?
Currently, community residents and those visiting the park can still enjoy the following activities:
• RV camping (please call the office first)
• Tent camping (please call the office ahead of time)
• Yurt camping is still an option for campers
• Disc golf using social distancing
• Hiking trails are open for your enjoyment
• Fishing and boating are still an option for visitors
Take a Much Needed Break & Enjoy the Outdoors
During this time of global crisis, remember to take care of yourself and your family. This should include getting some exercise and fresh air. Also, practice social distancing effectively but enjoy the outdoors in the process. Take a break from the mental stresses of life and enjoy some down time!
