Crappie fishing guide, Larry Burchfield reports he and customers had great crappie fishing this past week.
"Got Charlie Powell out of quarantine today who like me has been on lockdown for 6 weeks. Fish were shallow early in 2 to 3 foot of waterand ready to eat. As soon as the sun got hot and up in the sky they shut off and moved out to 4 to 5 foot. They were hungry once again. After about an hour that bite went dead and the Garmin was void of any fish. Moved a few feet closer and boom there they were once again. Shallow bite is on fire. We ended with a 2 man limit of 74 just after 1pm."
On another day, "Another incredible day on Lake Eufaula. Today I was fishing with two brothers Dan and James of Enid Oklahoma. This morning started off slow but as the morning progressed the bite really picked up. They had fun pulling fish off the Livescope and couldn't believe how modern technology has changed fishing. Today we caught fish from 2 to 8 feet/ I think after they quit dropping the lake they'll be on the banks for sure." Lake Eufaula Fishing Gude, Larry Burchfield
