Lake Eufaula State Park: Naturalist Activity & Program March Schedule
Deep Fork Nature Center offers a monthly naturalist activity program for visitors. The Deep Fork center is located at Lake Eufaula State Park in Checotah, Oklahoma. The park address is 111563 OK SH-150 and is a wonderful place to visit with the family.
March 2020 Activities
Forever Flower – Saturday, March 7th – Decorate garden flowers in a way that brightens the day. This event is scheduled for 1 pm – Materials fee is $2 per participant.
Feather Painting – Saturday, March 14th – Use your imagination to create a feather painting art piece. This event is scheduled for 1 pm – Materials fee is fifty cents per participant.
Orange Bird Feeder – Thursday, March 19th – Create a bird feeder the birds will love from an orange. This event is scheduled for 1 pm.
Leather Key Chain – Friday, March 20th – Create you own personal leather key chain. This event is scheduled for 1 pm – Materials fee is $2 per participant.
Soap Making for the Kids – Saturday, March 21st – Learn how to melt glycerin soap and create soap from molds. This event is scheduled for 10 am - Materials fee is $2 per participant.
Friendship Sticks – Friday, March 27th – Come and learn how to make friendship sticks. This event is scheduled for 1 pm - Materials fee is fifty cents per participant.
Nature Journal – Saturday, March 28th – Create your own personal nature journal & use it to document all the beautiful things you see in nature. This event is scheduled for 1 pm - Materials fee is $2 per participant.
